Activated charcoal may also help reduce gas, soothe upset tummies, and speed up recovery from cold and flu bugs, so it's the perfect time of year to give these fun homemade gummies a try!

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

  1. Pour chilled juice into medium size bowl.
  2. Add gelatin and stir. Wait 3-4 minutes for the gelatin to fully hydrate, then mix until blended well.
  3. Pour into an enamel or stainless steel pot on medium-low heat. Add maple syrup and stevia and stir until well-blended.
  4. Pour back into bowl, stir in charcoal, and let cool to room temperature.
  5. Pipe into decorative molds using a dropper or measuring spoon.
  6. Let gummies set slightly to avoid spilling when moving to fridge.
  7. Place in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or freezer for 8-10 minutes.

*Texture can vary, so taste test yourself first to make sure baby is developmentally ready to eat gummies.
