Grass Fed Beef Baby Food Pouch w/Organic Kale + Sweet Potatoes
Our Grass-Fed Beef Baby Food Pouch with Organic Kale & Sweet Potato delivers hearty nutrients, quality protein, and delicious flavor in every spoonful. We choose grass-fed beef because it can naturally carry higher levels of Omega-3s, iron, and CLAs, which studies suggest may support healthy growth and cognitive development. We're selective about where our ingredients come from the beef in our puree comes from farms committed to regenerative agriculture, supporting both animal welfare and soil health. Paired with organic kale and sweet potato, this smooth, savory blend offers a balanced, low-sugar option without added sweeteners or preservatives. With 5g of protein per pouch, this is one of the more protein-forward options many parents look for beyond typical fruit and veggie purees. This allergen-friendly pouch is also easy to bring along, whether that's a car ride, daycare drop-off, or a grandparent's house..
*1 serving = 1/4 cup vegetables
Beef as a First Food, Around 6 Months Around 6 months, many families begin to explore solid foods, starting with beef as a first. This can be an exciting stage, since beef purees may offer iron-rich nutrition that supports growth and development. Pairing beef with organic, whole ingredients is one way to bring nutrients and flavor together without unnecessary additives.
Why Beef Can Be a Nutrient-Dense Choice Meats like beef can be a nutrient-dense first food. Beef is naturally rich in heme iron, which studies suggest may support healthy development, along with protein that can help with muscle growth and overall health.
Exploring Beef Textures as Little Ones Grow Once little ones seem comfortable with beef pouches, many parents look to introduce new textures. Moving from smooth purees to small, soft pieces of cooked beef can be a natural next step, and tiny, easy-to-chew ground beef pieces are one option some families find helpful. This kind of variety may encourage curiosity around different textures over time.

Sourcing
Sourcing is a big deal here! That’s why we hand-pick farms that supply our high-quality ingredients. We believe high-quality proteins and veggies start at the source, on farms and ranches that care deeply for their animals, the earth, and our shared future. FAQs
Why does this pouch cost more than a regular jar of baby food?
We hear this one a lot, and it's a fair question. A lot of that cost comes down to what's actually inside: grass-fed beef from farms committed to regenerative agriculture costs more to raise than conventional beef, and we use a full serving of organic veggies* rather than water or fillers to stretch the recipe. We believe the higher protein and nutrient density is worth pointing out, since it can mean this pouch is doing more nutritional work per spoonful than pouches padded with fruit purees or starches.
Is grass-fed beef safe for my baby to try around 6 months?
Many parents introduce meat as one of the first solid foods, and evidence suggests beef can be well tolerated since a baby's digestive system already has the enzymes needed to process animal fat and protein from breastmilk. As with any new food, we always suggest introducing single ingredients one at a time and checking in with a healthcare professional if there's a family history of food sensitivities.!
Why kale and sweet potato instead of a fruit-based blend?
We tend to pair our proteins with vegetables rather than fruit so the recipe can stay lower in natural sugar while still delivering flavor babies tend to enjoy. Organic kale and sweet potato also bring fiber and micronutrients to the mix, which we believe rounds out the protein nicely.
Does 5g of protein actually make a difference for my baby?
Protein needs are pretty small at this age, but they add up fast during a stage of rapid growth. We lean into protein-forward recipes because many parents have found it harder to find meat-based options on shelves compared to fruit or veggie purees, so we wanted to help fill that gap.
What does "grass-fed" actually mean, and why does it matter?
Grass-fed simply means the cattle graze on grass rather than being grain-finished in a feedlot. Studies show this can result in beef that's naturally higher in Omega-3s, iron, and CLAs, nutrients that may support healthy growth and cognitive development.
Can I mix this pouch into other meals instead of feeding it on its own?
Definitely. Some parents like to stir it into pasta or rice, mash it with avocado, or use it as a base for a homemade "stew" with additional grain-free veggies. It can work equally well as a stand-alone first food or as a mix-in as textures start to expand.
Still Have Questions?
We know every baby is different, and sometimes the FAQs don't quite cover it. If you're wondering something specific about this pouch, feeding stages, or ingredients, we'd love to hear from you directly. Contact Us and our team will get back to you.

I was so excited to
I was so excited to come across this food company at my local Kroger. The grass fed beef was one of the first packets my child tried and she loved it and still does to this day. It was a relief for me to find something with clean ingredients, it made my life a whole lot easier when first introducing solids to my child. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone. We usually order the meat and veggies variety pack now and there’s not one she won’t eat!

FAQ
Aren’t squeeze pouches bad for the environment?+
We asked this same question because we value protecting the environment in a very big way here at Serenity Kids. After all, we want to protect the future of our planet for the babies we are raising right now! We recognize that plastic poses a variety of environmental problems. While exploring glass packaging options, we were shocked to find out that convenient pouches like ours actually have a smaller carbon footprint than jars. Why? Because for every one truckload of pouches, glass jars will fill up 26 truckloads of the same number of units! Given the resources required to produce, transport, and dispose of glass, mixed with the overwhelming consumer demand for squeeze pouches, we decided to launch our company with pouched products. However, we are exploring other packaging options that we may adopt in the future depending on consumer demand. We are always listening to our customers so if you have a hot tip on new packaging, please let us know by emailing us. If you’d like to recycle your pouches, you’re in luck! Our partnership with TerraCycle allows you to request a free pre-paid shipping label to mail back your empty pouches to be recycled.
What is the shelf life of your pouches?+
Unopened pouches can be consumed up to 18 months from the date of manufacture. You can find the best by date on the back of the pouch under the nutrition facts panel.
Can my Serenity Kids pouches be frozen?+
Yes! Once opened, you can freeze the puree within 24 hours of opening. This way your babe can have it for later consumption! You also can freeze the entire unopened pouched and its contents – popsicles, anyone?
How long will an open baby food pouch last?+
We recommend eating or freezing it within 24 hours of opening.
